Margoschis HSS (Nazareth) wins title

CHENNAI: Margoschis HSS (Nazareth) defeated St. Patrick’s AISHSS 4-2 in a tie-breaker in the final of the Rev. Anderson memorial inter-school football tournament here on Thursday.

The teams were tied goalless during regulation time.

Evolution BC defeated Olympic BC 70-56 in the men’s section of the Mayor Radhakrishnan BC memorial State-level basketball tournament.

V. Rajalakshmi scored 17 points as MOP Vaishnav College beat WCC 46-10 in the St. Joseph’s Sree Raghavendra all-India inter-collegiate basketball tournament for men and women here on Thursday.
