CHENNAI: Former National squash champion Ritwik Bhattacharya will return to action, after his recent knee surgery, in the ICL-Chennai Open, a $6000 PSA event which is to be held here from August 13 to 18. Ranked 60 in the world, Ritwik has been given the top seeding in the absence of recently crowned National champion Saurav Ghosal who is scheduled to play in another tournament in Pakistan. Players from Hong Kong, Denmark, Lebanon, Iran and Egypt are expected to take part in this tournament with Mohd Ali Anwar Reda of Egypt to be the second seed. Harinder Pal Singh, Naresh Kumar, Parth Sharma, Parthiban and Siddarth Suchde will also take part. The qualification draw matches will start in the evening on August 13 and the main draw competition commences on August 15.
