Chennai: Former Pakistan cricket captain, Inzamam-ul-Haq, has said in his official website Bigstarcricket.com that if the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) did not offer him a central contract, then he had the right to play cricket in any competition, including the Indian Cricket League.
Inzamam said it was “open market” for cricketers not offered a central contract by the PCB.
“If they are not selecting me, I have a right to play cricket anywhere, whether in county cricket, Bangladesh, or India,” he said.
Inzamam added money alone was not the motivating factor.
