Corrections and clarifications

The heading of a report was: “Attack on Taslima evokes all-round support” (Andhra Pradesh, August 10, 2007, page 3). It should have been “Attack on [Bangladeshi writer] Taslima evokes all-round condemnation [from political parties, women’s organisations and writers]”, as said in the first paragraph of the report.

In a report “Innings win for India ‘A’” (“Sport”, August 8, 2007), on the first three-day match at Mombasa, Piyush Chawla’s bowling figures were accidentally mixed up with the India “A” batting figures.

Mahendra Singh Dhoni was dismissed leg-before wicket as given in the scores, and not bowled as mentioned in a report “Indians set a target of 294” (Early editions, “Sport”, August 6, 2007).
