Polytechnic college to be opened soon

Chitradurga: G.H. Thippa Reddy, MLA, has said that a government polytechnic college will be inaugurated here shortly. Speaking after announcing the new office-bearers of National Students’ Union of India (NSUI) on Friday, he said that it was a long-pending demand of the district to have a polytechnic college. He said that the Union Government had approved a proposal to set up Ayurveda, Unani, Homeopathy and Naturopathy colleges. He felicitated newly elected office-bearers of the union R. Krishnamurthy, city unit president; P.T. Mahesh, B.T. Kartik and B. Pramod Kumar, vice-presidents, and K. Sunil Kumar, K. Kartik Varma, Ravikumar and G.S. Santosh, general secretaries.
