Students stage rasta roko for more buses

SANGAREDDY: Students obstructed traffic on Rajiv Rahadari near Gajwel-Pragnapur on Friday, demanding more buses on the Gajwel-Siddipet route.

They were agitated because of an accident on Thursday, in which a college student was hit by a bus she was trying stop near the Rimmanguda bus stop. Even though the girl escaped with minor injuries, the students attributing the incident to low frequency of buses during college hours organized a rasta roko for more than two hours.

The traffic on the Rajiv Rahadari came a halt. They raised slogans against the depot manager of APSRTC Gajwel-Pragnapur depot demanding more buses.
