‘Nava Chaandi Yagam’ performed

TIRUPATTUR: For the overall welfare of the people of Tirupattur, a special “Nava Chaandi Yagam” was performed at the Arulmigu Adiparasakthi Amman Temple at Vellan Nagar here on Friday.

More than 500 devotees participated in the yagam, which started at 8 a.m. and continued till noon. The yagam was performed in the presence of the Tirupattur MLA T.K.Raja and Natrampalli MLA N.K.Suriya Kumar. Even some of the big businessmen were present during the yagam.

Married couples actively took part at a specially performed ‘Sangalpam’ for their overall prosperity. At the end of the yagam, food was served to the devotees. — Staff Reporter
