Complaint lodged against former councillors, officers

KOLAR GOLD FIELDS: The former commissioner of the City Municipal Council here, S. Hanumanthappa, has lodged a complaint with the police against several former councillors and officers in connection with various irregularities and misappropriation of several crores of rupees. The former commissioner took the action in accordance with a direction from the Directorate of Municipal Administration.

The directorate has in a letter asked Mr. Hanumanthappa to lodge complaints against people’s representatives and officials involved in scams reported between 1993-94 and 2005-06.
