Case booked against college students

KANCHEEPURAM: The police have registered a case against three students of an arts college in Thazhambur for causing damage to college properties and the principal’s vehicle.

According to police, Joshwa, Kishorejoe and Pandian ill-treated a professor who accompanied them in the college bus on August 7. Hence, the Principal suspended them. So a group of students boycotted classes on August 9 and staged a demonstration. Some of them pelted stones on the principal’s car. Hence, he lodged a complaint with the police.
