Man held for sending threat letters

Tirupur: The Tirupur North police on Friday arrested a 29-year-old person for writing letters threatening Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi.

According to the police, Mohammed Rafi, wanted the Government to raise the age limit for recruitment of police constables to 29 from 24 years.

Otherwise, he threatened to harm Mr. Karunanidhi.
