KOCHI: The National General Council of All India Kisan Sabha passed a resolution here on Sunday demanding that the Union Government and various State governments should take a cue from the Kerala Debt Relief Act to enact similar laws. The three-day General Council got under way here on Saturday. A seminar on agriculture, rural development and the Eleventh Plan was held on Sunday. The seminar was inaugurated by C.K. Chandrappan, MP. Atul Kumar Anjan, general secretary, submitted the report. Minister for Agriculture Mullakkara Ratnakaran is scheduled to inaugurate the valedictory function on Monday at the Rajendra Maidan at 4 p.m. — Staff Reporter
