Woods extends lead

Oklahoma: Defending champion Tiger Woods rolled in another birdie on the front nine on Saturday, extending his lead to three strokes midway into his third round at the 89th PGA golf championship.

The World No.1 birdied the 372-yard par-4 fourth hole after beginning the round with three straight pars on the par-70 Southern Hills Golf and Country Club course.

At Moosic (USA), Arjun Atwal hit two birdies in the final two holes, but still found himself in the 46th place after three rounds at the $500,000 Northeast Pennsylvania Classic. — Agencies
