QUEST: Participants at the J.C. Bose Science Club meeting
The J.C. Bose Science Club of Srinivasa Rao Higher Secondary School, Thiruvaiyaru, Thanjavur district, met recently. N. Rajendran, head master, presided. In his special address, R. Arivudainambi, retired professor of Chemistry, underlined the importance of creating scientific temperament in the young minds.
Club president B. Anantharaman and treasurer S. Prema spoke. The teachers, Sivagurubaran, S. Kavitha and N. Abarna, explained the achievements in the field of science through experiments.
Two students — R. Balaji and Balasubramanian — conducted a demonstration on the phenomenon of air pressure.
