KANNUR: Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI) activists will take out a Nava Bharatha march on August 15. DYFI district president C. Sathyapalan said at a press conference here on Monday that one lakh people would participate in the march to mark the 150th anniversary of the First War of Independence, 100th birth anniversary of Bhagat Singh and 60th Independence Day. Two marches organised for campaigning for it had been completed. The march would start near St. Michael’s High School at 3 p.m. A public function would be held at the Town Square. The Communist Party of India (Marxist) Central Committee member A. Vijayaraghavan would inaugurate it.
