House burgled

VILLUPURAM: Valuables from the locked house of M. Rajesh Baid (27), a jeweller, were reportedly looted on Sunday night. Mr. Baid, who had returned home on Monday morning, found the front door of the house, located on the Sembaruthi Street at Tindivanam, broken open and silver articles weighing about 1 kg and 12-gram gold chain, kept in a steel almirah, missing.

On his complaint, the Rosanai police have booked a case.
