Jaiswal visiting Assam today

NEW DELHI: Minister of State for Home Sriprakash Jaiswal will visit Assam on Tuesday for a review of the security situation in the wake of recent attacks on Hindi-speaking people, particularly in Karbi Anglong district.

Mr. Jaiswal will visit upper Dehari village and Rongbong ghat in Karbi Anglong district where militants had struck, sources in the Home Ministry said. He will also meet Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi and top State officials.
