Three killed in road accident

Sangareddy: Three friends on their way to offer prayers to Edupayala Vanadurga temple near Medak town were killed and eight others seriously injured when the DCM van in which they were travelling turned turtle near Macharam under Medak rural police station limits on Monday.
While Raju Goud died on the spot Kiran Kumar and Satish Kumar all residents of Dundigal of Qutbullahpur mandal of Ranga Reddy district succumbed to injuries at the Medak hospital.
According to police Kiran Kumar, who wanted to celebrate birth of his newborn son invited every his friends to Edupayala and hired a DCM van.
The group was said to be close of former Home Minister T. Devender Goud.
Eyewitnesses pointed out the brakes of the van jammed near Macharam turning and the driver lost control over the vehicle.
The van skidded off the road and fell into a ditch.
Former TDP district president Batti Jagapathi arrived at the spot and saw that the injured were shifted to Gandhi Hospital for treatment.
