Germ Plasma Centre set up

JAIPUR: Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje on Tuesday laid the foundation stone for a Germ Plasma Centre at Narva Khichian village near Jodhpur for improving the breed of cattle and promoting animal husbandry and milk production activitie

Ms. Raje said the State Government would spend Rs. 20 crore on the centre’s construction to help out farmers who invariably get support from their cattle wealth during recurrent droughts. The first such centre in the State is functioning at Bassi near Jaipur.
