Music festival from Friday

MYSORE: The Mysore-based Shruthimanjari Foundation will conduct Shravana Sangeethothsava, a three-day music festival, to mark the season from August 17, according to a release.

Shravana Sangeethothsava is among the nine annual music festivals conducted by the organisation.

This year’s concerts will feature young and upcoming artistes such as Kumari Amritha Venkatesh (Carnatic vocal), Master Sameera (flute, Hindustani) and Master Madhu Kashyap (Carnatic vocal).

The music festival will be held at the Rotary West auditorium in Saraswathipuram. It is open to all.
