BANGALORE: The month long camp for the Indian hockey players at the Sports Authority of India at Kengeri wound up on Monday. Most of the players at the camp have dispersed in batches. Three players however, who were on the injured list, will stay on in Bangalore. Drag flicker Sandeep Singh, Brunu Lugun and Bharath Chhikara will continue to train under Ganguly Prasad and will have to be certified fully fit before they can be available for selection. The Indian Hockey team will regroup in Chennai on August 21 and will in all probability play some practice matches with the teams that will participate in the Asia Cup. Not only the 18 players selected, but the 8 reserve players will also be involved in the practice sessions and matches at Chennai. — Special Correspondent
