PJR’s son withdraws petition

HYDERABAD: P. Vishnuvardhan Reddy, son of Congress MLA from Khairatabad, P. Janardhan Reddy, on Monday withdrew his petition challenging the registration of case against him in the Jubilee Hills car rage incident. It may be recalled that the police registered cases under section 307 of IPC against the son and nephew of Mr. Janardhan Reddy after a clash between them and Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy’s brother Y.S. Raveendranath Reddy and his son Y.S. Sumadhur Reddy over parking of cars and honking. –Legal Correspondent
