Lack of coordination regretted
BANGALORE: Mahima Patel, the State’s Special Representative in New Delhi, on Tuesday said a communication gap between the Union and State governments and between him and various government departments had led to delays in getting approval for several multi-crore projects.
Mr. Patel told presspersons here that there was a lack of coordination between government departments, and each department was handling projects on its own. Principal Secretaries and Secretaries in charge of various departments did not know how to utilise his services in dealing with the Centre. “I told the departmental heads here to make use of my services to get various projects sanctioned at the Central level,” Mr. Patel said.
