Alleged suicide bid by three women

NEW DELHI: A 26-year-old woman allegedly set herself afire at her Ashok Vihar residence here on Tuesday.

According to the police, the incident took place around 4-45 p.m. when Kiran, wife of Sushil, allegedly set herself ablaze. Kiran married Sushil five years ago and they have two sons. In another case, Meera Jain, wife of Anil Jain, jumped off the fourth floor of Tulsi Apartments where she lived on the third floor. In another case reported in the morning, 30-year-old Manju allegedly set herself afire at her Trilokpuri residence here. She has been admitted to GTB Hospital with 95 per cent burns.
