No meat shops today

The Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation (GVMC) has declared Wednesday holiday for meat shops in connection with the Independence Day. All meat traders and butchers are advised to keep their shops closed on the day. Action will be taken against erring traders as per the Act, said GVMC City Veterinary Officer N. Karunakara Rao.
