Bomb threat turns hoax

Holiday time: Students of Deccan College of Engineering rushing out of the college following a bomb scare on Tuesday. -
HYDERABAD: Students and staff members of Deccan Engineering College at Darussalam were evacuated on Tuesday following a phone call that a bomb was planted on second floor of the college building. A person rang up the Hyderabad police main control room around 10.30 a.m. stating that the bomb could go off any moment and hung up.
The control room alerted the Habeebnagar police who rushed to the college with bomb disposal squads and sniffer dogs. On the same premises, the offices of MIM, Etemaad Urdu daily and a co-operative urban bank. .
