Two men immolate themselves Crime notes

BANGALORE: Two men, both labourers, committed suicide by setting themselves ablaze in separate incidents in the city on Monday.
The police said Murali (36), an alcoholic, doused himself with kerosene and set himself on fire at his house in Sanjay Gandhi Nagar slum.
In the other incident, Narayana (37), who had suffered severe burns, died at Victoria Hospital on Monday night. He had immolated himself at his house in Andhra Colony slum.
Killed
Ramesh (23), a software engineer, was killed after a bus belonging to a IT firm hit his motorcycle on Marathahalli Ring Road around 10.30 p.m. on Monday. The Airport traffic police, who have registered a case, said Kumar was a resident of Ramanjaneya Layout in Marathahalli.
Gangadhara Murthy (45) was killed on the spot after a goods vehicle rammed his motorcycle in 2nd Stage, Peenya, on Monday afternoon.
Recovered
The Kalasipalya police have arrested four persons who were allegedly planning to commit robbery and recovered from them gold ornaments and electronic goods worth Rs. 75,000.
