17 police officers to be awarded President’s medals
HYDERABAD: Seventeen police officers from the State will receive President’s medals for their distinguished service on the eve of Independence Day.
Four officers -- Director-General of Police (Administration) K. R. Nandan, Fire Services Director-General A. K. Khan, Additional Director-General of Police (Organisations) J. V. Ramudu and ACB DSP A. Ram Kishan Rao -- will receive President’s police medals. Thirteen officers will get Indian Police Medals. They are Vijayawada Police Commissioner C. V. Anand, Deputy Inspector General of Police (Eluru Range) Mohammed Ahsan Reza, Nalgonda Additional Superintendent of Police A. Venkateswara Rao, Anantapur DSP (Intelligence) SK. Mahboob Pasha, DSP Greyhounds K. V. Satyanarayana, Detective Department (Hyderabad) Inspector Y. Tulasi Ram Prasad, Greyhounds Inspector P. Ugender Reddy, Guntur CI J. Bhaskara Rao, Vizianagaram PTC Instructor K. Mahendra Patrudu, ACB Inspector K. S. Bhaskar Reddy, Chittoor DCRB Assistant Sub-Inspector B. Janardhana, Warangal Assistant Reserve Sub-Inspector Syed Ajaz Ahmed and Karimnagar Special Branch constable K. Raja.
