Minister tells women to make use of welfare schemes

Srikakulam: Minister for Revenue, Dharmana Prasada Rao on Tuesday urged women to make best use of various welfare schemes being offered by the Government.

Asserting that the Government was keen to empower women, he said that welfare schemes were designed keeping in mind their interests. Pattas of house site and lands were being issued in the name of women, he said.

The Minister distributed bank-linkage loans to members of self-help groups at a function here. Municipal chairperson M.V. Padmavathi, presided over.
