Rs. 10 crore for each district for tourism

GADAG: Minister for Tourism and Infrastructure and Gadag district in-charge Minister B. Sriramulu has said that Rs. 10 crore would be released to each district for development of tourism. He was speaking at the 60th Independence Day celebrations at the K.H. Patil Stadium here on Wednesday after hoisting the national flag.

Mr. Sriramulu said that the coalition Government had allocated Rs. 150 crore for the development of tourism in the State, which was the highest allocation to the department so far.

He said the department officials had been directed to chalk out plans.
