Thiruvananthapuram: Chief Minister V.S. Achuthanandan will hold a series of meetings with different sections of the society in the Durbar Hall of the Secretariat on Thursday to mobilise funds for the Chief Minister’s Calamity Relief Fund for taking up relief work connected with the recent monsoon havoc. He will meeting representatives of Central public sector undertakings, banks, heads of IT companies, Chamber of Commerce, traders organisations, FRAT and other private institutions at 11 a.m., other organisations at 3 p.m. and trade unions at 4 p.m. Chief Secretary Lizzie Jacob has asked the representatives of these sections to attend the meetings. —Special Correspondent
