Independence Day illuminations

NEW DELHI: To mark 60 years of Independence, the historic Old Secretariat building housing the Delhi Assembly has been illuminated with thousands of electric bulbs.

Delhi Assembly Speaker Prem Singh greeted Delhiites on the occasion and urged them to take a pledge to promote peace, communal harmony and brotherhood in society and make India a strong nation in the world.
