Man gets double life term for murder

Krishnagiri: The Krishnagiri Principal District Sessions Court on Tuesday awarded double life imprisonment to a 30-year-old man for murder. The sentences would run concurrently.

The prosecution case was that Srinivasan of Chinnati near Kelamangalam murdered Anand (35) and his brother Ramesh (30) in November 2000 following a property dispute. After hearing the arguments, judge T. Madivanan sentenced Srinivasan to double life imprisonment and slapped a fine of Rs.5,000.
