Isolated rain likely in T.N.

CHENNAI: Rainfall occurred at a few places over coastal Karnataka. Isolated rainfall occurred over Telangana, Lakshadweep and south interior Karnataka. Mainly dry weather prevailed over Tamil Nadu and north interior Karnataka and dry weather prevailed over coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalaseema and Kerala.

The chief amounts of rainfall recorded in centimetres are: Honavar and Karwar 3 each and Ankola (Uttara Kannada dt) and Mangalore Airport 1 each.

WEATHER FORECAST (valid until Friday morning): Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at a few places over coastal Karnataka isolated rain or thundershowers are likely to occur over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Interior Karnataka, Keral a, Lakshadweep and Andhra Pradesh.

Farmers weather bulletin for Tamil Nadu and Puducherry Forecast (Valid until morning of 17th 2007): Isolated light to moderate rain is likely to occur over Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.

Outlook for subsequent two days: No significant change
