M. Tech. examinations: Applications for the final semester M. Tech., computer science (2005-07 batch) examinations can be submitted without fine till August 24 and with a fine of Rs.50 till August 31. That is also the last date for sub mitting the thesis.

SC/ST vacancies: There are vacancies in the SC/ST category for the M.A. Sociology (credit and semester) programme at the Department of Sociology. Those interested should contact the head of the department before August 22. Call 0471-2 418425 for details.

Ph.D. entrance examinations: The Ph.D./M.Sc. engineering entrance examinations will be held on November 4 at Cotton Hill GHSS, Thiruvananthapuram. The last date for submitting applications is August 20.

M.A. Arabic: The viva of the fourth semester M.A. Arabic examinations will begin at 11 a.m. on August 16 at University College.

M. A. Politics: The internal marks of the students of the second year M. A. Politics (2005-07) course, conducted by the Institute of Distance Education, has been displayed at the institute office at Kariavattom. Those with any complain ts should contact the coordinator before August 20.

BDS scholarship: The list of students eligible for the B.D.S. merit scholarship 2006-07 has been sent to the principals of Government Dental College, Thiruvananthapuram; P.M.S. College of Dental Science and Research, Vattappara, and As sisia College of Dental Science and Research, Kollam. Complaints about the list that have been certified by the principal can be submitted till August 24.

B.Tech. scholarship: The list of students eligible for the B.Tech. merit scholarship (2006-07) has been sent to the principals of all engineering colleges.

Complaints about the list certified by the principal will be accepted till August 23.
