Lok Adalat held at Padirivedu

CHENNAI: Indian Overseas Bank and the Ponneri Taluk Legal Services Authority jointly held a Lok Adalat on Monday at Padirivedu village in Gummidipoondi recently.

Ponneri sub judge A. Kayalvizhi inaugurated the adalat. N. Xavier Thomas, IOB assistant general manager, participated.

A total of 98 accounts of loanees of IOB’s Ponneri branch were settled at the adalat. It involved an amount of Rs.12,80,000, of which Rs.5,28,000 was recovered on the spot.
