‘Excel Anant’ tariff cut

HYDERABAD: The Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) on Wednesday announced a ‘drastic reduction’ in its new ‘Excel Anant’ (Rs.495) plan tariff within Andhra Pradesh from August 16 as ‘Independence Day bonanza’.

The announcement was made by Chief General Manager, AP Telecom Circle, S. Ramalingam, while hoisting the National Flag at the Doorsanchar Bhavan, Abids.

A press release issued by BSNL said the new Anant Excel rates within AP would be Rs.1 (mobile to BSNL network), Rs.1.40 (mobile to other network).The rate outside AP would be Rs. 2 and Rs. 2.40.
