Attack on magazine office condemned

New York: The Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ) on Wednesday condemned the attack on the Mumbai office of Outlook by Shiv Sena activists.

The assailants were said to be upset over the magazine’s depiction of their chief Bal Thackeray as a “villain” in the current issue dedicated to 60th anniversary of Independence, according to an account on the magazine’s website.
