Former MLA’s son murdered

KADAPA: Perla Nagendra Kumar Reddy (45), eldest son of former Kamalapuram MLA Perla Siva Reddy, was allegedly murdered by his accomplices in his house near Yerraguntla railway station in the early hours of Thursday.

Mr. Siva Reddy lodged a complaint with Yerraguntla police naming four of his followers – Suman, Subbarayudu, Nathi Sreenu and Madhava – as suspects. Nagendra Kumar Reddy suffered three deep stab wounds on his right temple and his right eye popped out, according to Yerraguntla sub-inspector Balaswamy Reddy. Police shifted the body for post-mortem to Proddatur Government hospital.
