Mobile coir exhibition
Aim is to promote fairs and achieve visibility for Kerala coir
Close on the heels of initiating steps for showcasing Kerala coir internationally as the Golden Yarn of God’s Own Country, the Directorate of Coir Development has launched Kerala Coir Campaign to coincide with the Onam festivities.
The directorate has already started 141 metro fairs throughout the State for selling quality coir products.
To promote the fairs and to achieve high visibility for Kerala coir, the department has launched a mobile display vehicle. Minister for Cooperation, Devaswom and Coir G. Sudhakaran inaugurated the mobile exhibition at a function held near Marytr’s Column in the capital recently.
The display vehicle will travel through out the State as part of the campaign.
