8 cases of chikungunya

Kozhikode: Viral fever continued to plague the district as 1,832 people sought treatment at various hospitals on Thursday. Eight persons from Atholi, two each from Kakkur and Kolathur and three from Narikunni were diagnosed with chikungunya. Two persons were suspected to have been affected with malaria, according to a press release here.
