Filing of nominations

NAMAKKAL: The filing of nominations for various vacant posts in the local bodies, for which by-elections are scheduled to be held on September 5, will begin at 11 a.m. on August 17. The last date for filing of nominations is August 24. The counting of votes will be held on August 7. The district administration has made all necessary arrangements for the smooth conduct of the by-elections, a press release said.
