Chief Minister attends relative’s funeral

ANANTAPUR: Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy and his family members visited Cheemalavagupalle of Pedda Pappuru mandal in the district on Thursday to attend the funeral of their relative P. Hanumantha Reddy, who was killed in a road accident near Yadiki on Wednesday.

Accompanied by his wife Vijayalaxmi, daughter Sharmila, other family members and wife of his political adviser K.V.P. Ramachandra Rao, the Chief Minister arrived in the village in a helicopter around 9.15 p.m. and drove straight to his father-in-law’s younger brother P. Hanumantha Reddy’s residence.
