HYDERABAD: Meridian School scored a solitary goal win over Abhyasa School to enter the semifinals of the Sachdev Sports inter-school football tournament, organised by Shastri Soccer Club, at Trimulgherry Grounds here on Thursday. The match-winner came through Nikhilesh who latched on to a neat cross from Anuj in the 30th minute of the second session. In another match, Army School (Bolarum) defeated Government School (Trimulgherry) 6-5 via sudden-death after the teams were locked goalless at the end of regulation time and tied five-all at the end of tie-breaker.
