Thiruvananthapuram: Vigilance Inquiry Commissioner and Special Judge K. Sasidharan Nair on Thursday ordered the Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau (VACB) to investigate the allegations of corruption raised by certain persons against the top management of the Kerala Transport Development Finance Corporation (KTDFC). The judge passed the order after considering two petitions accusing KTDFC Managing Director Rajashree Ajith of nepotism and corruption in appointments and allocation of loans. The court dismissed the Vigilance prosecutor’s argument that the Government had ordered a VACB inquiry into KTDFC affairs. The court ordered the VACB to report its findings within three months.
