Four women commit suicide

NEW DELHI: Four women allegedly committed suicide in different parts of the Capital on Thursday.

According to the police, 40-year-old Munni Devi was found hanging from the ceiling fan in her house at Mayur Vihar Phase-III. She was being treated for depression for the past two years. In another incident, 19-year-old Sonia ended her life by hanging herself from the ceiling fan in her rented accommodation in Kondli. Similarly, 19-year-old Omwati, a school peon, was found hanging in her house at Nandnagri. In the fourth incident, 18-year-old Deepika allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself from the ceiling of her house.
