Ugandan woman held

NEW DELHI: An Ugandan woman has been arrested at Indira Gandhi International Airport here by the Central Industrial Security Force on charges of drug smuggling. The agency claims to have seized 2.6 kg of heroin from her possession.

Around 4-30 a.m., Amini Bateru was on her way to board a flight to Shanghai when Constable Shimla Chauhan intercepted her for physical frisking. During frisking, the constable found socks wrapped around the woman’s waist.
