Golf course worker commits suicide

A golf course worker, who attempted suicide by consuming poison died in Bollarum on Monday, died at the Gandhi hospital on Wednesday. The police said R. Anup Kumar (40) ended his life after his mother allegedly admonished him for returning home in an inebriated state daily.

Man killed in accident

K. Y. Ramoorthy (47) was killed after he was run over by an auto rickshaw at Hubsiguda on Wednesday. He was crossing the road when the accident occurred, according to police.

Boy succumbs to snake bite

Five-year-old K. Naveen died after a snake bit him in his house at Turkapally in Shamirpet on Wednesday.

Lorry knocks down auto

A lorry knocked down an autorickshaw killing one person, D. Yadagiri, 46, travelling in it at Bandlaguda crossroads under Chandrayanagutta police station area on Thursday. The three-wheeler driver, Raghunath, and another passenger, Narsinga Rao, sustained minor injuries in the accident.

The victim and the two injured persons were coming from Katedan to Jangammet when the

lorry hit the autorickshaw.

Body found in train

The body of an unidentified man aged about 45 years, clad in a woman’s clothes, was found beneath the seats in the Machilipatnam Express at Secunderabad railway station on Thursday. Police, quoting the doctors, said the victim died of some illness.

Man ends life

An unidentified man in his mid-30s committed suicide by jumping before a running train near Gandhi Hospital mortuary in Secunderabad on Thursday.
