4 arrested in Tenkasi

TIRUNELVELI: The Tenkasi police have arrested four persons in connection with the killing of six persons on August 14.

Police said Sakthi Pandian, eldest brother of Suresh, Sekar and Senthil, all killed in the clash, and his relative Mani alias Pista Mani, Allaudin and Haneefa were arrested on Wednesday night.

While Sakthi Pandian and Mani were lodged in the Nanguneri sub-jail, Allaudin was taken to Srivaikuntam sub-jail. Since Haneefa had sustained injuries, he was admitted to Tirunelveli Medical College Hospital. —Staff Reporter
