India crashes out

KOCHI: Despite a valiant fight, India lost 3-4 to Japan in the FIFA beach football World Cup’s Asian qualifiers on Dubai’s Al Mamzar Beach on Wednesday. The defeat, India’s second in the three-team Group ‘A’, saw it crash out of the tournament. Japan and the UAE now enter the semifinals.
