Krishnagiri: The District Administration has invited applications from disabled persons to extend loan assistance for starting various self-employment ventures.
The National Handicapped Finance and Development Corporation will provide loan assistance up to Rs.1 lakh to start self-employment ventures.
A minimum interest rate of four and five percent would be charged from the beneficiaries.
Parents and spouse of mentally retarded persons, as well as those with cerebral palsy and autism are eligible to avail of loan assistance from NHFDC on their behalf.
More information can be obtained from the office of the District Disabled and Rehabilitation Officer at the Krishnagiri Collectorate, a press release said.
